Infant Portraits

July seems to be a month of firsts! On Saturday of this last weekend, I had the pleasure of
photographing Caeden Dye, who just happened to be only 10 days old. Though I've photographed
more children than I can now count, he was by far the youngest, and I dare say one of the cutest.

Cow Appreciation

This past Friday was a first for me as a photographer: I photographed several dozen children running
around in cow costumes! It was quite adorable. My wife and I were asked to photograph the annual
"Cow Appreciation Day" festivities at the local Chick-fil-A restaurant. They had face painting, picture
coloring, contests, games, activities, balloon animals, and of course pictures with the cow. =) I think we
had as much fun photographing the event as the children did participating in it.

Family Portraits

Carrie, a fellow photographer and friend of mine, asked me to photographer her family this past
Thursday. I really enjoy getting to meet the families of my friends; it often reveals a whole other
side of their personality and history. And, her family seemed pretty close, which is always neat to see.

Arizona

This past Monday, my wife and I returned from visiting friends in Phoenix, Arizona. And, though
this trip was meant for some well earned rest, I couldn't help but bring my camera. I'm certainly
glad I did. I had no idea that Arizona was so incredibly picturesque. During part of the trip, we
even drove up to the Grand Canyon, which I had never visited before. I hope you enjoy these photos
as much as I did taking them.

Hello World!

I would like to begin this blog by first welcoming you to to the C&C Photography Website,
which, for my wife and I, marks a grand culmination of work and dedication. It feels like
only a short time ago that photography was just a passion in our lives, but now it has become
so much more.

So, thank you for taking an interest in C&C Photography and sharing in our photographic
passions. Feel free to check back often, as this blog will be updated frequently with the latest
pictures and news of events. For me, photography has become a way to tell stories and
capture the life that surrounds us. C&C Photography is the means by which I can then
share these stories with the world.
